The Olathe North Eaglette Dance Team attended the Kansas Spectacular Dance Team Festival at Olathe East on January 20 and 21. The festival had over 50 private, junior high and high school teams participate. The team brought home many awards including the following:

- Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence
- Judges awards for the team Jazz and Hip Hop
- Best Overall Technique for Team Routines
- Best Overall Precision for Team routines
- Best Overall Choreography for Team routines
- Best Overall Presentation for Team routines
- Sweepstakes Award
- Winner’s Circle
- Best of the Best Award (The Junior Varsity Eaglettes were the 8th highest scoring team of the competition.)
- Runner Up for the Highest GPA in the Junior Varsity Division

- Medium Ensemble Winner’s Circle– Junior / Senior
- Division I Superior Rating for Officer Routine

- Judges awards for the team Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Pom

- Best Overall Precision for Officer and Team routines
- Best Overall Choreography for Officer and Team routines

- Winner’s Circle (The Eaglettes were the highest scoring team in the medium team division.)
- Best of the Best Award (The Eaglettes were the 2nd highest scoring team of the entire competition.)
- 2nd Runner Up for the Highest GPA in the medium team division
The biggest honor was being selected for the Outstanding Team Award, which was voted on by all of the other teams. Eaglette Director, Sara Heptig, was also selected for the Outstanding Director Award., which was voted on by all of the other teams.
The Eaglettes would like to extend a special thank you to Conor Hosford for being a part of their pom routine, Zaida Woods for being the manager, and Eaglette Alumni, Janae Mahaffie, for her assistance throughout the day.. The Eaglettes would also like to extend a thank you to all of our families and friends for their constant support.
