Eaglettes are 2X National Champions

The Eaglettes attended Dance Team Union Nationals in Orlando, Florida on February 14th – February 20th, 2018.  The Eaglettes competed against some of the tops teams from across the country.  Going into the competition the Eaglettes faced many challenges, including injuries, sickness, changing formations and learning multiple parts over and over again, not to mention this being one of the hardest routines the Eaglettes have ever done.  Every challenge helped us grow stronger.  We finished prelims in 1st place, which invited us to perform in the DTU Battle Round where the best of the best would compete head to head.  On finals day, the Eaglettes gave their very best performance of both routines.  We finished in 3rd place with their Contemporary routine.  The Eaglettes were named the Pom Battle Winners, received the Crowd Appeal for our pom routine, and were named the Large Varsity Pom National Champions.

We have so much gratitude for the people who have shaped our program and gotten us to where we are.  It is all of our alumni who have helped pave the way for us to get here.  It is our choreographers who have given us inspiring routines time and time again.  It is our coaching staff who have given their heart and soul to the team.  It is our families (past and present) who have loved us through it all.  It is our community who has been behind us.  It is our administration who supports us day in and day out.  It is the current team who made the dream become a reality.  We are so blessed for the ONE Love that surrounds us.  Thank you all!

Eaglettes, you are now 2 time National Champions.  This has been after years of hard work.  Work that is so incredibly worth it.  Eaglette history has once again been made.  I am so very proud of you.  Someone very special once said “The best jacket is the Eaglette jacket.”  This is so incredibly true.  Our new jackets are very nice and we will wear them proudly, but the best jacket IS the Eaglette jacket.
